I bought the following video about Pete Rose. Cost about $11. I did enjoy it. I ended up not liking him after I watched it. He came across as very arrogant to me.

Mike Schmidt does some of the narration. He talks about how important Rose was for the Phillies to win the WS in 1980.
Schmidt (best 3rd baseman in history) was obviously entrenched at 3rd, so Rose played 1st. Didn't whine. Schmidt believes w/o Rose the Phillies would not have won the 1980 WS.
I now do not believe he should ever be in the Hall of Fame. The rules on gambling are pristine clear (I looked them up).
His 4,256 base hits seems untouchable. MLB does not officially recognize it.
