In my experience, hatred and racism were most prevalent among the most uneducated. As people got in the world and were exposed to more and more people tolerance grew. I see a trend now where that is now reversing itself. Positions are hardening, tolerance is becoming passe under the guise of "no justice no Peace".

Ian, you coined the phrase, "disfunctional culture". As the membership in disfunctional cultures increases, so will their power. At some point, as power usually does, it will corrupt, revenge will be taken in the name of reparations. I think bloodshed will result. This is not unprecedented. People will say it's racism but it really is "culture clash". You see this happening in bosnia, Serbia, Ireland, Indonesia, India, Sudan, Israel, Mali, Most of central Africa, even Canada. Finding a peaceful mult-cultural country is more the exception than the rule. That is why I think we are in for a major bloodletting.

Interesting. So do you think white people/govt. will start killing blacks again because they are tired of blacks seeking to improve? Are you predicting a race war? That would be sad because blacks would be slaughtered they might take some with 'em but I think they would be slaughtered.

You ask if the Gov't will start killing blacks again. I do not accept that the gov't ever killed blacks (you mean genocide?) I can find no law ever on the books that said in effect, "go kill blacks"!

If it makes you feel better to think that they did, well, um .. hey its America and we are so far still free to think what we want.

It would be hard to elaborate on my views on bloodletting unless we can clear this point up.
