Went to see Henry Rollins Band last night at the 9:30 club in DC. They kick ass. Simple as that. Henry Rollins still put's on a hell of a an energetic show. Amazing that this guy has been performing for 20 years. The band as always were incredibley tight. I have seen Black Flag and Henry Rollins Band multiple times and have never seen a bad show. Henry Rollins always delivers.

"If a college educated, semi-succesfull black man can still be thought of as a ****** for any reason, it is a pretty clear indication that in order not to be thought of as a ****** one would have to totally assimilate and conform to the ideas and mindset of those who would think of you as a ****** not to be thought of as one anymore. I would rather die." Freedom

I wasn't a fan until I heard the cd "Weight"...I love that disc. Come In & Burn is good, but I like Weight better. I haven't purchased the new one yet.

For me, Rollins is the weak link in that band's chain. His lyrics are great, but I'm not a big fan of his delivery. The band, though, KILLS.

I dunno dude the rollins band stuff ive heard gives me a limpy. Its like it wants to rock but never quite gets there. In my opinion Black Flag was much better before Rollins came on too.

Has anyone seen his open mike show? I saw it once, it was pretty cool.
