Call the club first to confirm since this was scheduled before the NYC tragedy.

Clyde is scheduled to play:

9/21, Fri. - The Troubador,
Los Angeles 8:30 p.m.

9/24, Mon. - The Gig on Melrose,
Los Angeles 7:00 p.m

Here is a message from Clyde which is a great currently unsigned group from New York City.

"We would like to thank everyone, fans and musicians alike, who came out to support our fundraising show at Arlene's this Saturday.
Together we raised $1,272 for New York Fire Department Ladder Company #3 who lost 12 firefighters in the insanity and destruction on Tuesday.

Most of all, we'd like to thank all the rescue workers and clean-up crew who all worked, and are working, so hard to bring this city from under the cloud of violence and hatred."

Yes. There website has some info and 2 MP3's. Their home page needs work as it tries to load an MP3 automatically and doesn't function properly. But go to the link below and it should work. If they do have a show and you can make it, tell the bass player Jim from Connecticut sent you. http://discussanything.com/Ubb/wink.gif http://www.clydeonline.com/sounds/index.html

I was letting you guys know even before I just got this email. CLYDE will in da house on the West Coast! Check 'em out if you can!

We have been deeply wounded by the recent
tragedy(Taylor was particulary hard hit, losing 7 in his circle) However, we immediately did what we could by organizing a benefit concert in NYC that raised
$1,272.00 dollars for the firemen of Ladder Company #3, who lost 12 of their brothers.

We now spread the love to the left coast, so if you know anyone in L.A., or can infiltrate some chat rooms for us, please pass the word on

National Airlines (never heard of it myself) is offering $100. America West has a low of $231.

I am so cheap, I placed an offer on Priceline at $80 and they said no, but try again. I must admit some apprehension. I usually try to get a seat near the escape hatch for the extra leg room. I would like a seat near the front so I can see what is going on and choke out anyone who decides they want to be an unauthorized pilot. This is a good reason to eliminate that First class and Coach crap on airlines. From coach you can hardly see what is happening up front.

I was going to fly to NY on National, thursday of last week. 329 round trip. LAX to JFK WITH a stopover in Vegas. (short, dind't even need to get off plane)

That is when nonstop american flights were 500+

Wow, what a difference a week makes.

I looked at the schedule for the Troubador for tonight and they seem to be the last act so they may come on at 10-11PM?

Thanks for considering it. I was hoping to be on the West Coast this month myself. I may still try to do a trip West as flights are now only $100 roundtrip NY-LA according to yahoo.com.

Damn 100 bucks? I was going tp pay 350 for mine...

If you come to the west, you NEED to meet up with CA and I. :-)

I will try to make it. I had plans with my GF, but she has work at 7 tomorrow, so maybe I can sneak away early. heh.

And I will see, maybe I cna find someone that has a hookup for this 21+ place.
