Well, I havent posted in this for awhile.

Things seem to be ok. Not great, but ok. If all goes well, I will be working, and making cash soon. And I have been learning a little Java, and I like it.

Ok, cleaned up the thread a bit. Did I need to? No. But it gave me something to do.

I am gonna try to hang out here a bit more. I don't get any other chances for debates and some-such.

I thought I would let you guys know how my life is going. I will not even need to summarize, because there is not much. I have been renting my current place for about a year. I have been at my tech-support job for about 2 years. I was close to losing it a couple of times, but now it is just a redundant easy job. It is somewhat satisfying, and my job is taking more responsibility (which is great for variety, but lame due to more work).

As for my personal mindframe and wellbeing: I have been growing up a bit, but some things remain the same. I feel like an old man sometimes. Although I realize I am in the "prime" of my life. I have been gradually working on being more social, with some success. Other than the guys at work, I have been dropping by the bar, and seeing old friends. I have yet to go to a shrink, and I will avoid it until I conceed that I can't handle my own mind. I am fairly sure that I have social-anxiety, at the very least. But I have been dealing with this most of my life.

I am in a mundane rut, work, play, eat, sleep. I have toyed with the idea of going nomadic, living life on the road. But maybe I should just go on a camping trip.

The 'chaotic' thoughts and views are still here and there. But I would like to think I am occasionaly rational now. :) But a few debates here will probabaly cure that.

Ok, Im not dropping by here much. Instead, I spend time playing my Night Elf Rogue in World of Warcarft. Those games are so good at soaking up my time.

Ive been feeling like making some decisions and changes in my life, but keep putting them off. I don't mind the way things are now, I just know sooner or later they will have to change.

I plan to quit my job, pack my stuff, and hit the road. Kind of road-trip/vacaton/nomadic/adventure. I have lived 24 years in the same area, I need to see more, and it might seem extreme to some. But who wants to wait until your some old prune, and drive a huge bus around. Well, I got some of the traveling out of my system. I was able to get some camping done, and visit family in cali.

Right now I am in Portland OR, trying to see if I can score a decent job, and a place to rent. I will probably give it a month or two to work out.

My guess is that either things will work out here, or I will go back to the island. I might try for somewhere else, but I will make sure to have a job lined up before I head somewhere. At least I think I found a cheap place to rent while I go job hunting. Wish me luck.

(If you climb that mountain you will find that there is an other mountain behind it and it wont look a heck of a lot different than the one that you just climbed. Lots of luck.)
