I have been watching the P4 2G release with interest. I wouldn't consider anything slower and will probably wait for .13uM processing and 3.5G clock.

There are some interesting things with the P4. Apparetnly the P4 xeon has hyperthreading capabilies in it, just not activated.

People believe in the .13 p4 and p4 xeon they will activate it. Hyperthreading basically has the processor use more of its pipelines efficiently, so it will act like two processors. That would give it a HUGE performance advantage over a like Athlon. Though, I won't rush to bad AMD until their hammer core chip comes out.
