In previous incarnations of windows you had an options to 'view all workgroups' or to view the entire client for microsoft network.

How do you do this in XP?

I know if I want to add a network place, I can see the enter windows network, but how can I just browse all of them, without needing to add a place?

"my network places" --- "entire network" ---- "microsoft Windows Network" .... that's how I do it on mine

On windows XP?

When I go to mine...

It shows

Local Network
(here it shows my 'network places, of which I have one currently)

The Internet
My Web Sites on MSN

On the left in the toolbar it shows
Network Tasks
Add a network place
View network connection
Setup home or small office network
View Workgroup of Computers

Other Places
Desktop
My Computer
My Documents
Shared Documents
Printers & Faxes

Details
My Network Places
System Folder

What I'd love is if under View Workgroup of Computers I could get it to say View Entire Network

I know that I am in 'XP' view, and theres some means of getting it to classic view...I don't know how.

If I HAVE to change to classic view, I would, or get this functionality in XP view.

If I'm underdstanding what your asking, you want to view eveybody on your network......try going to-

My Network Places>>>>View Workgroup Computers (On the sidebar on the left)

Midnight-

That I know how, I want to be able to browse/view the ENTIRE network, not just the workgroup.
