I've been having trouble with my printer, whenever i try to print something the printer starts making the usual noise it does when its printing but when it's done there is absolutely NO ink on the paper!
This is realy pissing me off, please help
Thanks
Jay
Sounds like a driver issue to me. Are all the cables hooked up ok? Are there any conflicts showing in your System manager? Are your drivers current and meant for you specific OS? Have you tried uninstalling, rebooting, and installing again?
Also, check the vendors website for current bugs and known issues..

It's a Compaq IJ300, what else do you need to know?

this may sound completley redundant but I dont know your level of computer knowledge... try changing the ink cartridges?

My favorite, is when you do change the ink cartridge but forget to take off the plastic film. It does exactly what BlueDogg's is doing.

I am not an expert in personal printers but have you taken the cartiges out and shook them? Are ALL colors not working? What does the manual say? You may have to look at the manufactorers web site of call them. I spend A LOT of time of the phone with vendors over silly stuff like this at work BTW. If all the colors dont work after shaking, try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers.

One thing to try would be to clean the ink cartridge head. You can do this with some Rubbing Alcohol and a couple of Q-tips.
