I read this a while back and can't remember where I got it from.

I thought it was appropriate for this forum.

WASH YOUR HANDS !

We see signs everywhere reminding us to wash our hands

before we move on to the next experience,

but we fail to recognize the importance of those words.....

the psychological as well and the emotional import.

We as humans tend to over-analyze and dissect everything

before we let go of it.

We want to pick it up, turn it over, and inspect it.

We want to know WHY it happened, and what we did to cause it,

and how we got where we are.

We want someone , or something to blame.

Recently, I have had to "let go" of several things

and my best friend has been here for me through it all.

Sometimes he's had to remind me to stop turning

things over and over in my mind .... to just LET IT GO.

If you have a disagreement with someone, and a resolution is met ...

then DROP it.

LET IT GO !

When you have eliminated / released something

or someone from your life,

don't keep checking to see if they are really gone...

wash your hands and move on!

When something is over, it's over !

Whether it be an argument, a discipline, or a relationship....

You are finished.

FLUSH !

Wash your hands ....

and move on.

Redfield must be a hypochondriac <sp>

It is so true though. There comes that point in a circumstance or situation where you just need to move on.

Yes, I was getting concerned about the "Wash your Hands" but anyways.. The quote is so true, at some point, we have to let go, and move on. If it were that easy..
