ok, first off.. i don't want to hear "wedge isn't over his ex.. and blah blah blah"

this is simply a question of does it happen to you.. do you ever have dreams about your ex? not saying in this case i do or don't.. i am just curious

i often dream about a girl i know, robyn.
to me, she represents my perfect partner, physically and mentally.
since there will never be a relationship between us, my subconscious just uses her as the model for my perfect partner and dreams about a perfect happy relationship.

I have dreams about ONE of my exes....manual strangulation, burning at the stake, beheading with a lawnmower... that sort of thing...LOL But, she earned those dreams.... I guess she just oughta be happy there's no reality to them.

I have dreamed on mulile occasions about my x-fiancee....some dreams are happy some are just me killing him....it depended when for the content :D

Hmm - I have been having one recurring dream about an ex? Pretty good ones too:) Does daydreaming count?

and i was going to put that sexual dreams count, but then i didn't want everyone thinking i have reoccuring sexual dreams.. just every now and then.. :)

and i only put this b/c yes, i have been having these dreams, but i am not going to say which ex, or what they have been about.. only thing i will say is that these dreams are weird.. they make no sense whatsoever

I dream about all kinds of people.....current bf....one particular ex (the only one I dont feel sick that I let touch me in any way) and other assortments of people (though not Guitarophile :D). I also dream of the person I couldve had, didnt choose and wanted soooooooooo badly.

Depending on what I get out of the dream...I usually just dismiss them, unless they seemed to hold much significance...or were really sexy :D

Yep, I do. I have actually posted about it once or twice back in the day.

Sometimes I wake up and have to question the reality of it.

I rarely remember dreams ... but technically yes i do have dreams of ex's but they tend to take a spin off of something that we had done together that I remember over others, or an event that took place with a new spin on it ... the whole what if factor goes on in the dreams more or less.

My ex dreams of me. But if I dreamed of him...man...I wouldn't see his face long before I woke up, smashed my head into a wall, and went into a coma. I don't want to put myself through that. I'm glad my subconscious doesn't either.

princess - yeah, scary was, i had a dream back in the day, that she was leaving my house and didn't want her to leave, so i woke up and ran outside before i realized it was a dream.. scary..

The only time I ever had a dream about my ex was the day before we got back together...

Only once, if my memory serves me right, did I have a dream about an ex. We were both had a summer class together, after our break up, and I saw her everyday. Maybe that's why she was one of the characters.

The dream wasn't romantic, at all and her part was only handing me a portrait of Liberace. I just thought that it was weird she was even in it and Liberace, for that matter. :confused:

I think it's reasonably normal to dream about ex's for a while. It doesn't necessarily indicate a desire for that person; it's more of a desire for the idealised intimacy you once thought you had. (Well, that's what I tell myself when it happens to me :D)

I did the same thing in highschool. Girl offers herself on a plate, and in a moment of indecision I didn't take it. I wondered endlessly what could have happened, and still can't explain why he let it pass. I don't dream about her but I get reminded about it every time I see her at uni, which is about once a week. She hasn't spoken to me in the last 3 years. She won't even make eye contact with me. It's like I'm invisible.

No, he's just kinda weird like that. He comes up to me and he's like, so we're friends, right? Cause I still dream about you. And I'm like "that's um, well, interesting". I don't know why he wants me to know. I hope he meets a beautiful chick in the military so he won't anymore.

Well, he's not really an "ex".... but this one guy that I went out with off and on for about 5 years keeps showing up in my dreams. The weird thing is, I don't think about him that much anymore but he must still be in my sub-conscious. *sigh* :(

Occasionally. The other night I had one in which my favorite ex was messing around with the diamond ring I presented her (which she wanted in reality but dumped me before I was ready to give it). The diamond came loose and fell off the ring in the dream. Pretty simple symbolism. I don't remember getting busy with her in the dream and there was no DNA evidence in the AM. :p

Do you mean nightmares? I used to have this particular dream of my ex, where he would crawl inside of my 'womb' and wouldn't leave. It was really freaky. Other than that, I usually don't dream about people I know??
