Gosh, strong words from DA's tin foil conspiracy theorist in chief.

I guess conspiracies are OK when it's something you want to prove right?

lollerskates :nice:

people seem to get more and more hostile every election year, i wouldnt be surprised if people started randomly attacking people physically for disagreeing with their politics in the next few years.

This is already happening. Did you hear about the hundreds of arrests outside the RNC?

im referring to outside of such events, not during such events which is not only common and expected but seems to be ok and acceptable to some people.

US politics devolving into a brutal Hutu/Tutsi or Sunni/Shia style cultural divide seems more and more likely every election cycle... :|

I thought it was going to happen to me last weekend. I was the bank in the square and some big fat lady was there with her Obama shirt on. She was asking people if they were registered to vote. Not realizing she was talking to me, I kept walking. She raised her voice at me saying "SIR, ARE YOU REGISTERED TO VOTE!" Thought she was going to come after me and eat me or something freaky. I was scared

This is what I'm referring to. It's hysterical bizarro shit that seems to claim that some international cabal of super villains created Obama in a Kenyian lab and snuck him into the US via Hawaii, and then nurtured the little tyke from birth to become a beguiler of the American electorate until finally unleashing him at the height of America's vulnerability to the evils of anti-Zionism with supernatural powers of rhetorical persuasion, and the magentic capacity of a 21st century Hitler.

Oh sure, I love a good conspiracy theory as much (or more) as the next guy, but it's gotta be plausible. It has to at least be possible. Being completely retarded doesn't really cut it in my definition of a good conspiracy theory. If I have to suspend the properties of the space/time continuum (as in some shadowy Israel hating cabal knowing that Obama will be able to earn the 18.4 million primary votes to break the color barrier and ascend to the DNC's nomination on this first attempt), or defy any laws of physics (official 9/11 conspiracy theory reference), just to hold my theory together, then it gets really hard to keep my connection to it.

These people are just plain fcuking nuts.

Yes, did you hear about how the jackbooted police were arresting people dfor nothing, attacking people, and charging some with with terrorism under the patriot act?

I'm guessing you support these un-American police actions right?

Almost matched the number of rabid Republicans arrested for generally making idiots of themselves outside the DNC. Oh, wait, that didn't happen. Why is it that democrats like to form mobs and attack people? It couldn't be bacause they're just more angry and prone to violence than Republicans are, right?

Indeed.:D

Note the blacked out certificate number, which according to the warning at the bottom of the same certificate, invalidates this as any kind of evidence or proof of anything, since it's clearly been altered.

Also, note the birth date. It's a date of no small significance. Guess who was also born on august 4:

Yasser Arafat, leader, Palestine Liberation Organization

and ...

Jonas Savimbi, Angolian leader of Unita

Coincidence? Of course not. And, where did his mother meet his dad? In a Russian language class ...Of course his dad also conveniently dies in a mysterious car crash.

Also note Obama's mysterious memory blackouts. For instance, he sat in a church run by virulent racists and antisemites for 20 years, yet apparently doesn't remember a single word his pastor ever said in the entire 20 years.

Also, during Q and A's, he couldn't remember a single platform of his from one day to the next, contradicting himself sometimes several times in the same day, and don't forget that during the Democratic Convention he wasn't even aware of what city he was in during a taped video ...

... clear signs of somebody who was probably subjected to severe indoctrination and brainwashing tactics then popular with Soviet intelligence operatives, a la 'Manchurian Candidate' type covert ops. He also eerily resembles Lee Harvey Oswald, another example of whom many people think was subjected to the same kind of brainwashing.

They're pretty similar facially; they could be from the same early clone experiment.

The Obama groupies are a big problem here.

Even those "normal" folks who support the candidate abhor them. They were scary as hell here during the primary season, and there seems to be no end in sight.

From time to time (when I'm wearing my walkman, or in a place broadcasting one of the local radio stations) I do hear public service announcements that remind people that if they need to register to vote, that they should do it only through official channels such as the county registration office or state website. Handling voter registration issues through a "street team member" is potentially an invitation to identity theft. (It has been said such thieves have wormed their way in to these campaigns, regardless of who is running them.)

We are fortunate in that we can register to vote/change address/change party/etc. through Motor Vehicle offices. We are also very fortunate in that this state does not require Social Security numbers for voting.

I've also had to dodge the "survey" people on the streets - asking you to do a 5 minute survey about whether you plan to vote in November, among other questions. The easiest way to get out of that, I've found, is simply to tell them that you work in market research, thereby disqualifying you from participating in any surveys.

Good points on the ID theft stuff. My state automatically sends you your new registration every two years or so, so you only have to register once here.

I just mace them. It's a lot more fun, especially the way they kinda sorta of do a weird spastic version of 'The Worm' on the slick floors in shopping malls.
