How is anyone getting screwed if the rich don't get another tax increase. More importantly, how will you benefit personally if they do?? Will the outflow of capital from the private to the public sector affect you personally, or will it just inflate an already grossly over funded bureaucracy??

I can't understand why people believe that punishing rich people will change their lives in any way. When has it ever actually done so?? I can't recall a single time in my life where tax increases have helped anyone.

And why don't those who feel they're under taxed simply pay more if it makes them feel better somehow?? There's no law against it and the government will gladly accept any and all funds it receives; no questions asked.

Of course, the last 8 years have given me some much needed tax relief, especially where my kids are concerned. I would hate to see a sound tax policy reversed in the name of "fairness", or any other name for that matter. It won't work, and the libs will still hate "the rich".
