*swipes away cobwebs* A journal entry? Whaaa?

Okay, I think I'ma break this down into specific sections...

*School

This is my schedule...

First Semester:
1st Period--Chemistry Honors
2nd Period--Technical (General) Math I
3rd Period--Spanish II
4th Period--Theatre Arts II (with my S/O :D)

Second Semester:
1st--English III Honors
2nd--U.S. History Honors
3rd--Tech Math II
4th--College-Level Child Pschology/Cognitive Developement

One of my main concerns is wtf colleges are going to think looking at this...:p I'm in the higher levels of all my courses EXCEPT math, in which I'm in the absolute LOWEST level. XD And next year I'm going to be in a couple more AP (Advanced-Placement--AKA college level) courses, and probably more honors...so yeah, that'll throw them for a loop. :p

But in my Senior year (next year), the only required course I'll have to take is English IV...the rest are of my choosing. :D I'm thinking something like Spanish III H, Theatre Arts III H (those two courses ONLY have honors for the 3rd level), AP Biology, AP Literature/English, Foods (Nutrition) I and II...of course English, and haven't thought of the last course yet...maybe Creative Writing, since they took me out of it this year (replaced it with Tech Math II). I know that colleges look very closely at your Junior and Senior year classes, so I figured that's a pretty good line up.

Tech Math has been okay so far...the teacher is absolutely awful, he's actually a football coach that they just put in the position of teaching...you don't need much more than a highschool diploma to teach general math. :hmm: So we don't actually do "lessons", he'll do one or two example problems of what we're doing, and then just give us bookwork for the rest of the day. The work is easy, we're working with fractions right now (XD), but I'm worried for when we get into anything harder...I have the same teacher for both Tech Math I AND II

Meh, but so far so good with the rest of my classes. :)

*Theatre
Auditions for the fall play ("Much Ado About Nothing"--Shakespeare :D) were last week...we got a pretty big turn out, which actually makes things harder because it's a tiny cast. I'm Assistant Director again, of course :D BFF (Marissa) is the Stage Manager...we'll be seeing a LOT of eachother :)

We're having an open call-back on Monday, because Webb (Drama teacher/director) wants to see how certain people interact...since this IS a romantic comedy, it's important that the actors play well off of eachother.

I'm SOSOSO excited for the show to start...it will be hard though, many nights I'll be staying at the school from 7:30am to 9:00pm. :hmm: We live about 30min from the school now, so when we have a rehersal from 6:00pm9:00pm I'll just stay after school...it would be a waste of gas to drive back and forth that much so that I could come home for an hour or less.

Totally worth it though. :D

*Friends

Making and breaking a lot of friendships recently...Jess and I haven't been doing so hot for months now. She's taken her attention-whoring and dating around to a whole new level, which I completely disagree with, and are traits that would generally cause me to dislike someone. Her new personality aside, the past year she's also taken to pulling me around a lot--she's best friends with this one girl, but oh wait, they're fighting so now I'M her best friend--oh now they've made up, so I won't hear from her for another month...oh but her bf broke up with her...she needs my shoulder to cry on...but now she's got a new one so everythings okay for another few weeks...and on and on and on...

I'm too sensitive for that kind of thing, so I'm starting to back off a bit now. We're still friends, but no where NEAR "BFF"s anymore.

Then I started getting closer to another good friend, Emily...we're pretty good together, I love her muchly. :) But we never reached best friend level, either, and I'm not trying to anymore...she's found her best friend forever, and I know I can't get through that...of course, we're still pretty close but not as much as when I had hope that *maybe* we could be *best friends*...she'll ALWAYS put her BFF first, which is understandable and good of her, but because of this we almost never get to hang out anymore, because she's ALWAYS busy already...so this is another case where I've stopped trying so hard...

Now there's Marissa...we've been good friends for a while, but there was always a barrier between us because of her possesive bf (Zack)...he's always been kind of a jerk in general, but he brought her to tears almost every time they were together...he would mope if she did anything he didn't like (including hang out with me for a bit during plays instead of always him), and she'd ALWAYS feel guilty...and would apologize and apologize until he stopped being upset...I hated that guy for how badly he treated her. Still dislike him greatly.

She broke it off with him over the summer...and ever since we've been MUCH closer. Zack hated me, REALLY disliked me, because I was friends with her and would steal her attention from time to time...so she'd be slightly avoidant when he was around...and he was ALWAYS around...but now all the little things that made her seem so distant are gone. She'd never even say "love you, too" because Zack would throw a hissy fit. :p

She's recently started dating a new guy, whom I like much more.He treats her with love and respect and accepts the fact that she and I are "married" (inside joke :p). So yeah, we've grown a lot closer as of late and I'm very very excited. :D

Scott and I are still doing well, going on two years. :D Like I mentioned before, we have a class together, so we get to see eachother EVERY DAY now and it's really really badass.

*Other Stuff

--Got my braces off...love my teeth now, they're prettyful. :D Got invisible retainers, too--look great, hurt like a bitch though and I have an awful lisp because of them. XD

Ummm...guess that's it for current life events. :p
