We are not so fickle as to change our feelings for you because you went from a 3 to a 5 or changed your hair, or perfume. We love you for the way you make us feel when we lie there watching you sleep, kissing you at the kitchen counter while getting that first cup of coffee, watching your eyes light up when we show up with flowers after doing something dumb, and sometimes just for sitting with us and listening to how bad we thought our day was. We don't care that there is a gray hair on your head, we can't see it. We don't care that there is a laugh line in the corner of your eye... we can't see it.

Each day you become more and more beautiful, if for no other reason, you're still here putting up with our ****.

Don't ask us if you're getting fat... we can't see it... you're still the beauty you were when we met.

Don't complain to us about your changing age... we still think you look 17.

Quit asking us what we think is wrong with you... we think you're perfect.

He's right though, even if age 17 is still very recent. If we've been in love with a girl for a while, we become completly blind to physical imperfections.

Its soooo true though. Though, I can't say 100%, as im not THAT far removed form 17, and neither is my gal, but I feel the spirit of this entirely.

I agree. But even if I do notice a change and moe often than not hear about it, I don't mind. I didn't fall in love with her waistline, cup size, buns, theighs, hair, skin or anything else alone. I love her and what she is as a whole. And that's perfect for me. :D

Good post Qtr, and it's by and large the truth. But to be honest, most guys have to find the gal physically attractive... at least initially. Of course, attractive means different things to different people. If a gal doesn't "ring my bell" physically when I first meet her, odds are I'll never even give myself the chance to fall in love with her and become blind to her faults. I know, beauty is only skin deep... and my mind and heart tells me that's true. My pecker tends to disagree, though. :\

OMG there is more than one cool guy in this world! :D My honey is like this, but he gives me the no bull sh** answer to my "does this dress make me look fat " question. His answer is required to be by mutual understanding "No darling, your fat makes you look fat" just so that we don't take eachother too seriously. :D
