Keep in mind that I was never truly for or against the war in Iraq. I have been thoroughly convinced and have awakened to the fact that we should have never gone to war with Iraq in the first placeand we should withdraw our troops as soon as possible.

Iraq never posed a threat to our nation; and by us invading Iraq, we have made the country far more unstable if Saddam were still in power. By doing this, the governments horrible foreign policies have made the US and its citizens more unsafe than ever before.

Even more importantly, the undeclared war on Iraq has bankrupted our nation and has devalued the dollar to nothing.

This has to be fixed now and I have no hope that either John McCain or Obama will fix this.

A: Yeah. That's kinda what we all tried to explain would happen.

B: McCain already said he's going to keep going with the PNAC plans. He's not going to end any wars, he's going to start more.

Basically, we're doomed.

FWIW .. you're not alone .. millions of Americans have come to the same conclusion

Basically, we're doomed

Not if the MSM fully expose the PNAC folly and the politicians grow some sack and quit enabling it .. this might be a tall order but not impossible

However, IF McCain is elected, then we're ****ed

Well we're doomed with either McCain or Obama. We have to find alternatives to the machine. Bob Barr, Ron Paul, SOMEONE who is willing to put up a fight for the people and for this country.

Obama will probably win, and even if McCain does, there isn't much difference between the two, other than the fact that Obama loves big government and high taxes more than McCain.

Neither will end the war. That's up to the Iraqui government and the people. Eventually, the tours of duty will be reduced, and there will be less need for so many troops, but the US presence will be there forever, as planned, and both Obama and McCain know this. At least McCain admits it (when he said 100 years, he was being honest), but Obama is pulling a classic bait and switch, and unfortunately, the people are falling for it.

The Democrats claimed that they would end this war of only we the people gave them control of the Congress in 06'. They have done nothing of the kind, now will they in 09'.

Congrats on reaching the conclusion we have all been hollering about for the last 7 1/2 years as our nation was steered off the road towards a very steep cliff.

You have only now come to this conclusion and as such you will experience it in waves.

First, is the realization that what you thought was a truly great leader was untrue. ( Hoo boy was it untrue!)

Next you will start to see the length and breadth of George W. Bush's betrayal of our nation.

Then the concentric rings of destruction he's wrought will begin to ( if it hasn't already) effect your life and standard of living.

THEN WILL COME THE ANGER.

Please bear on mind that most of us have already experienced these waves.

As such, some of us are on a part of the road you can't see.,,, but a part of the road you will be arriving at soon.

McCain IS Bush lite.... and he will only add salt to wounds that have not yet begun to heal.

Obama may not be able to fix any of this, but he won't make it any worse than it is, or is going to get.

McCain will.

That's all you've got to know.

As folks now realize The Iraq War is simply a manifestation of the corrupt power that lobby groups have over Congress and the Whore House. But the disillusionment inherent in observing government in action can also be seen at the state and local levels. It is mind boggling how flucked up things at all levels of government and it seems like the establishment needs to keep things flucked up in order for them to retain control.

Even if a reformer like Ralph Nader, Ron Paul, or Dennis Kucinich was elected, there would be tremendous resistance to actual reform because so many pointless positions of power would be threatened.

Their positions aren't pointless.

Raw power is heady wine.

They vote raises for themselves, and have given themselves the very best medical coverage OUR money can buy.

Their positions are based on the axium that our currency reflects.

"E Pluribus umin" ( out of many, ONE )... Only in their case, they've added a little something..... Out of many pockets into one.... THEIRS.

Just to be clear, I never supported George Bush or 99.9% of his policies since he has been in office.

I have always been disillusioned with this government but I really had no information to base it off of. I just knew there was something wrong and I knew most politicians were phonies and whores of the highest order. Now that there is at least one person in the government that is saying, you are being wronged, robbed, and violated gives me a glimmer of hope. Yes, there is a long road ahead of us, but If we do not back down or give up, we can make some serious changes to this dysfunctional government.

The framers of the constitution were smarter than anyone could have ever imagined. Their genius goes unnoticed.
