The serial was originally published in the 1960's, but was recently reissued and stocked at the retail chain.
Regretful display of showing society has a *long* way to go...as far as certain 'sociopolitical mores and attitudes' are concerned....
Of course, this *shouldn't* be *much* of a 'surprise' that this is taking place in......Texas.....
After all....a certain town named Jasper is in the *same state*....
And we *all* know what happened there (Circa 1998).....:hmm:
