Unfortunately, it won't go anywhere. I can't believe we impeached Clinton for a blow job, but we can't impeach Bush for war crimes and Constitutional violations.

ok-and yes im speaking as a disinterested party but why does this meet with so much apathy from the left? i can see people saying its more trouble than its worth (maybe maybe not) but is this the left's position? ive read something by Pelosi regarding the matter-but i dont read a lot of news-does she represent her side of the aisle in this?

Pelosi stated that impeachment was off the table even before the Dems gained the majority in both houses. That remark from her alone should've been enough for her to be deemed ineligible for congressional service. She basically said that it was her desire to completely ignore a certain part of the constitution, making her subsequent oath to defend the constitution (as Speaker of the House)totally irrelevant.
