Me and Wifey and a couple of friends went to Baltimore last weekend for a couple of ballgames. We drank beer while we were there.

We started the beer shenanigans at the Wharf Rat.

They brew their own. Plastic cups = teh suck, but are pretty standard in any crowded watering hole right before a ballgame.

Then we went to Camden Yards.

The seats had cup holders. Please note the two empty cups under my filled cup. That stack would eventually reach five high.

And I had a crabcake sammich (best baseball food EVER!)

The next day we went to Max's Taphouse for lunch, located a short water taxi ride away in Fells Point.

Max's has an impressive offering of bottled beers. They have about six of these coolers.

But I opted for the tap list. I kept track of who drank what (I would be "Phil").

So in our three hour lunch there, we drank beer.

and ate food.

We spoke to an employee in the visitors' center by the wharf and he told us about Brewers Art as well. We only had about a day and a half though so we couldn't do everything. Maybe next time. :)

The guy in the visitors center knew a ton about local watering holes, their history and beer in general. Go figure!

I'll be sending this photo to the official Red Sox Nation website.

Prepare to be branded a heretic.

Seriously though, that looks like my kind of road trip! :nice:

Absolutely. That De Regenboog was a real ass kicker between the high alcohol content and strong hoppiness. I loved it.

Heh. :D When I visit other parks, which I am up to about 12, I have no problem supporting the home team. :) I'd never cheer for the Yankees though.
