Just curious, when you decide to drink some beer, how many beers do you usually have in one sitting?

I have a hard time drinking just one because I like beer too much. I usually have two. This goes for drinking beer from bottles at home, or when I go out for dinner and have some beer.

During the week, I normally nurse one beer. On the weekends, all bets are off.

It depends on what I'm drinking though. English beers (especially ESB, porters and stouts) are great for session drinking as they are lower in alcohol and you can have a few without falling off your chair. Belgian ales I tend to savor as well as heavier beers like barleywine. If I'm at a brewery, I like to get a sampler of all their beers and see which one I like best. That's one of my favorite ways to enjoy microbrew.

Usually just one... ocassionally if I go to the local microbrew pub I'll have two or three...
