Why does my 93 cobra have the snake on the drivers side facing backwards? And the snake on the passenger side is facing towards the front of the car?


Did all 93 cobra's come with the snakes like this?

I would guess it is because Ford is cheap and doesn't make them "directional" for each side

Replaced, they were directional, well I am 90% sure.

All the 93 Cobra were this way, Ford only used single directional Cobra's so no need to worry. In 94 they started with both facing foward then in 95 the Cobra recieved the "SVT" badge on the left side of the rear deck lid. If it makes you feel better I've seen some Cobra of various years with both Cobra facing backwards, guess the guys at the assemby line had a few on their lunch break!!!
