I'll be making a trip to Idaho to see my stepdaughter, (she dropped out of U of M and is now a full time cowboy out on her Uncle's ranch), and some other camping trips.

I don't have any vacation plans for this summer, but I've got tons of stuff going. I'm going to a couple of bike festivals (riding, camping, drinking, eating) and I've got a couple of three day weekend trips to Vermont planned. I am still looking for a 24 hour bike race to compete in but none of them are fitting into my schedule. I may not get to do one this year. :(

I have been spending too much time kayaking in the filth of the Long Island Sound. Meh elbows are now sore. On the bright side I have come up with an invention.

Well I did not become bearbait, it was an awesome time spent with my uncle, a friend of his and his son who is my age. We stayed five days in Tofino which is a vast stretch of beach and endless ocean on the west coast of vancouver island, pics maybe of it soon..and would have been there longer but I went into a hypoglycemic shock passed out cold in my tent from eating too many smores.. my sugar level spiked and went hella crazy..actually because I just didn't regulate my glucose as well as I should. My fault..was taken to the clinic nearby and then off to spend two days at a hospital in Victoria. I felt pretty badly that my uncle and myself had to cut the trip a few days short, but without having had showers things were getting a little rank under the canvas. Better luck next time.
