What the hell is the point of buying a box of plastic forks, knives and spoons if you are going to save them, wash them and reuse them. Shit, if you're going to wash the utensils, just use silverware. Plasticware is meant to be disposed of!

on a similar note, it annoys the shit out of me when people hoard the plasticware they get from take out (chinese, Chili's, etc.). don't save the shit forever, use it people!
