View Full Version : What is your favorite Dish?
Evil Elmo 03-07-2008, 07:33 PM Simple enough question I think. :)
as for me, here goes....
Tempura Prawns. Freshwater prawns to be exact. I can eat them by the dozen and I like to dip them in sweet and spicy garlic chili sauce.
Saison 03-07-2008, 07:37 PM god, there are so many, favorites just depend on moods. Nothing beats traditional holiday feasts, for me. Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, the works. Although, having free reign at a sushi restaurant would be a close second. Oh, and greasy diner breakfast for hangovers is third. :nice:

I kinda like plates the best .... but, if I had to pick just one .... I'd pick a bowl, its more universal.

I really love those plate/bowls....not sure if they have a name but you know what I mean? They're half way in between, sort of a shallow bowl or a deep plate....it's the best of both worlds, like a spork!

Tough one ... a favorite.... nope, can't name one. I like to eat ... pretty much anything ... just no mushrooms, no olives. ... I try them every few months to see if I like them yet ... never have. ... Anyways, a seafood dish would probably be my favorite ... lobster / crab / muscle / clam casino / oysters Rockefeller / fried squid … whatever, just load it up.... With some brussle sprouts / asparagus / and mashed potatoes … yeah, a plate with all that on it would be high on my list.
bbq pulled pork, 'slaw, hush puppies & baked beans.:drool::drool:
There's this enchilada at a famous mexican joint called El Cholo. It is corn tortillas, stuffed with chicken, covered in some cheeseanda fried egg.
hmm
Bear Stories 05-16-2008, 09:01 AM I don't know that I could pick just one dish, it all depends on my mood. I'm a big fan of chicken and seafood, and right now, with the weather being all warm, it's all about the grill. I currently have some lovely double cut chops in brine and they will be grilled to perfection for dinner tonight. Yumm-mee!
