I don't see much difference. I just wish the greasy slopes had done us all a favor and disemboweled the filthy senator in Hanoi.

Yes. :| http://home.att.net/~alanmania65/ManchurianCandidateMcCain.jpg optimus 02-17-2008, 09:03 PM Tough question....Hmmm....damn, I don't know. TheLateGreat 02-17-2008, 10:45 PM For all the dissatisfaction over both, I think the idea "there's not much difference" is enormously disingenuous. The differences may not be on certain people's particular pet issues, but overall, they have huuuuuge differences that would have a large effect on many Americans' lives, depending on which was elected. grimrebuke 02-18-2008, 11:53 AM For all the dissatisfaction over both, I think the idea "there's not much difference" is enormously disingenuous. Yeah.. that. McCain is reined in on one side by the notion that every problem can be solved with a bigger stick and on the other by a need to pander to the religious-wrong. He cares more about being President then about being a good President. On the other hand, Hillary is very angry and some feel she would spend a lot of time seeking out retribution against political rivals. Moreover, she is also too immersed in the machinery of Washington to change it. Both of them have learned how to work the political machine, therefore both are prone to keep it intact as much as possible. When you figure out how to win using the current rules, why would you try to change the rules? Stone 02-18-2008, 05:05 PM Yeah.. that. Snouter 02-18-2008, 07:45 PM In today's New York Times, the ultra-Zionist maniac Lieberman who doesn't use electricity on Saturdays said he would accept a VP nomination by the madman McCain. If that ticket of death and destruction comes about, I would vote for Hillary were a choice between the two mandatory. zipper99 02-19-2008, 01:43 AM Just stop calling Obama a bitch... Cherry 02-19-2008, 11:13 PM After tonight Hillary is toast it will be Obama vs McCain. It will be President Obama come November. And I cant wait :) hadit 02-20-2008, 12:21 PM After tonight Hillary is toast it will be Obama vs McCain. It will be President Obama come November. And I cant wait :) I wouldn't put it past Hillary to force a brokered convention and the disintegration of the party. zipper99 02-21-2008, 01:34 AM Hmmmm.maybe, but I think if it got that far Bill might pressure her into stepping down gracefully (perhaps by extracting a deal where she would get (say) Secretary of State) Corporate Avenger 02-21-2008, 05:28 AM They are both bad, hard to decide who is worse though, it looks like it's Obama or were headed for at least 8 more years of Bushism, either way this country is a lost cause.. hadit 02-21-2008, 09:21 AM Hmmmm.maybe, but I think if it got that far Bill might pressure her into stepping down gracefully (perhaps by extracting a deal where she would get (say) Secretary of State) I really don't think Bill wants her to win, but I don't think he has much influence over her. She thinks she deserves to be president, and to fall short would really stick in her craw. I get the same feeling from McCain. |
