2 QUESTIONS: I hope you DAers will respond to my questions and expand on them if it pleases you.

#1 Does Hillary's net wealth of between 10-million and 50-million dollars influence you as far as voting for her in the primary?

#2 If it does influence you, why does it and/or how does it influence you?

Obama suggests Clinton show tax returns

Thu Feb 7, 11:35 PM ET

NEW ORLEANS - Democrat Barack Obama suggested Thursday that Hillary Rodham Clinton follow his lead and release her and her husband's income tax returns so the public can see where the $5 million she loaned her presidential campaign came from...

...Clinton's financial disclosures, which reveal only broad ranges of assets, place her and former President Clinton's wealth between $10 million to $50 million.

I am not influenced by that kind of wealth if they obtained their wealth legally, other than to think, "Boy, I wish our wealth were between 10-million and $50-million" (and I certainly do wish it). That is, I do not "hold it against" someone that is that wealthy just because they are that wealthy.

It is, imho, terrific strategy for Obama to contrast his seemingly transparent family against what many seem to feel is a Clinton family with many skeletons to keep in the closet.

#1. No, since I would never vote for her, anyway.

#2. No, since I didn't vote in the Democratic Primary.

You can listen to hours and hours of stories about supposed skeletons in the Clintons' closets every single day, and for the last 15 years; just listen to 'talk radio', the rats are literally foaming at the mouth, as usual. Bill and Hillary are single-handedly responsible for the Decline Of The West; they are one amazingly powerful couple. I'm surprised they have time to run, what with managing all those ongoing plots to deprive conservatives of their breakfast beer, murder millions of white babies, force our daughters into mandatory prostitution, demonizing drunk driving, and, well, All Sorts Of Evil Doings ...

I think when Democratic candidates have that kind of money they should consider a platform of educating the citizens in how to be succesful using the tools and opportunities in their country, rather than how to stay low-income and dependant on the government for survival, which seems to be their usual pitch.

I would never vote for her but I believe Obama is the one.
I can't believe I'm saying this but I would rather see a Republican win than Clinton.
I believe in Obama!!!!!!!!

Those you refer to are Clinton Haters. Oh, you left out the fact that both of them are serial killers and often stalk and kill together.

Bush has created at least one hurricane so it would kill black people, or so the Bush Haters would contend.

If our next president is more powerful than is Clinton and/or Bush the world will probably end upon his or her command.

I wish people did not choose to hate. I also wish I had a net worth of 10-million dollars, and I suspect most of the other DAers share my second wish.

Wishes and horses...

So a Republican candidate is exempt from the platform that you mentioned. Why?

Bill and Hillary's wealth doesn't matter to me- unless they got it by accepting bribes.

It's just one more reason to hate Hillary, along with a gazillion or so others.

The Clinton wealth doesn't affect me much, though it pisses me off that they have between 10 and 50 million dollars... I mean come on, that's a $40 million difference. That's arrogant as hell to give such a generalized estimate when running for an office like the presidency.

I have a bigger problem with Hillary clinton basically structuring her whole life around acquiring the office of presidency. This makes it very difficult for me to trust her. I have a big problem with power hungry, ego-inflated politicians so it's not just her.

The Clintons are as corrupt as it gets. They have had more scandals and cover-ups than any other politician, and they have a pattern of scandals/corruption/cover-ups that go all the way back to their days in Arkansas.

It isn't merely about hate, it is about doing the research and looking at the ugly reality. Take off your partisan blinders, and at least try to have an open mind.

I knew that there were one or two people here (like TT) who pretty much refuse to believe anything at all negative about the Clintons, but I didn't think that many like that existed. Honestly, I'm amazed that people like you still exist, when tons of information is out there, for anyone who cares to do the research.

If you want to hear the other side of the story, start with watching this:

Also, read the book, 'Compromised: Clinton, Bush and the CIA' by Terry Reed.

If Obama makes it past the relentless Clinton "machine", the GOP will have a lot harder time making their case against a relative unknown. I only hope he'll have the needed gonads to tough the rough ride out. It won't be anywhere near easy.

1 No. I look at issues and nothing else.
2 Moot point.

That Clintons are the Bush's of the Democrat Party. I hate them but they are a hell of a lot better than the Repubs.

Did the Clintons pay back the suckers who donated money to their legal defense fund back in the Clinton Scandal Days of the 90's? At that time the apparently were broke.

You folks down south there need to have finance disclosure laws like we do then you would know exactly what she had. As to wealth I think you would be crazy to elect a failure to office. Success in their field or earned wealth is a good measure of the person. Inherited wealth on the other hand dosent say a thing about a person. Personally if I was an American I would be working for Obama. I find Hillary cold and think that she would have a difficult time compared with Obama due to the fact that so many folks really dont like her or her Hubbie. There is a certain appeal in a Clinton/obama ticket but its just a pipe dream which would never happen.

Where is the evidence--the hard proof--that can be gleaned by reserch that documents these crimes (I did listen to the clip)? If there is evidence, why have they not been charged for these heinous crimes? imho, it is because there is no proof that they committed them, for there are so many Clinton Haters that these heinous crimes would have, by now, been exposed.

imho, the so-called "crimes" are a result of innuendoes and rumors that cannot be substantiated.

Certainly, I can be wrong about Bush, the Clintons, and just about everything (I am flawed, which I readily admit). I simply do not see actual evidence to support the crimes, etc. BTW, nor did Ken Starr, whom was not exactly a “pal” of Bill Clinton.
