Well, I finally laid down the coin for the two 5x7 door mount speakers and the tweeters installed on the little side view mirror "triangle thing"...

Well....though my front speakers sounded like crap....replacing them has really made the back speakers stand out as junk now. The sound is INCREDIBLE. The cymbals sound so crisp, and clear....and there are a few songs you can hear the pick on the guitar strings....BIG improvement....and I can't say enough about them...crystal clear!

Now I can actually turn the volume up over 10.....but about 13-14 the back speakers start to go dead....so, we will be replacing these soon too....

SO, as far as I'm concerned, the Boston speakers are a definite thumbs up.

sweet man,im sure they sound a hell of a lot better than stock. Have you considered later on switching to a component system instead of coaxials? If you do plan on upgrading I would go with MB Quart-I was realy impressed with my 7inchers http://discussanything.com/Ubb/wink.gif

Uh, what? Man, I'm not all into the audio stuff....I just talk to a buddy of mine up at Hi-Fi Buys and tell him what I want and about how much I want to spend...he hooks me up from there....
