So I got a defective batch of Samsung E900 and D900is and basically I cant win unless I fix them myself. If I ship them back I lose, if I pay to fix them I lose. Anyway I had to refund and flash some of them myself because if I paid to get it done id have lost on those sales.
So D900i flashing=no problems.

E900 now that's a different story. The first place I check is howardforums and EVERYONE pointed me to this seemingly stellar guide on yahoo geocities. The guy writing the guide claims to have used the Russian firmware on a UK E900.

My phones are from the UK and so I think no problem. All is well til I go to the camera which is not working further research shows that EVERYONE who has a UK E900 who flashed it with Russian firmware has a non-functional camera.

LOL

I guess im to blame too I should have checked out other forums before I followed the guide everyone was touting. Matter of fact I should have took it as a sign that the guide was down since last year but came up for the first time last night and while I was browsing it preparing to flash a short while ago it went down again. Saying bandwidth on geocities is exceeded for the tutorial.

So now im here about to reflash the phones.

Basically I used to flash phones long ago when I was in high school this is my first time flashing any modern phones. So im a little nervous.
Normally I would pay to have it done using this guy who unlocks and flashes phones but lately he has been giving me a bit of an attitude and I dont know why.

Well actually I do he has been asking me out a lot since mid-last year and I keep telling me no and when he asked me again recently and I told him no its like the guy wanted to curse me. So when I called him last night to fix them he informed me that he would not be picking them up from me AS USUAL but I would have to bring them to him.

So that motivated me to get the confidence to attempt the flashing.

Flash is now 29% complete with 9:30 minutes remaining im crossing my fingers.

Wish me luck guys.

EDIT: The first E900 the camera now works so im going on to the next one.
EDIT2: My headache has returned because it seems flashing did not help the phone continues to restart itself
