Why doesn't the filthy media ever question the utter insanity of this presidential process of pandering to retarded voters in certain states who support the establishment candidates? Fluck Iowa and the other states that get priority for no reason over other retarded states. Fluck the ridiculous insanity of the "electoral college."
They should simply have a election based on all the votes of taxpaying American citizens.

Duh.
It's the same old "Well, we've always done it this way" mindset.

I've been wondering the same thing, for all the talk about how if the electoral college goes away that candidates will spend all their time in big cities, well right now they spend all their time in little hick farm towns in Iowa, so WTF???

I think the Electoral College is fine because it gives each state a minimum say in who will become president. There was a time in the very distant past when state's rights were important...and the Electoral College is a remnant of that time. That being said...if you oppose the idea behind the EC, you should also oppose the existance of the Senate.
Anyway...I think all primaries and caucuses thoughout the country should be held on the same day.

They should simply have a election based on all the votes of taxpaying American citizens. This part I agree with. If you don't pay income tax, you shouldn't be allowed to vote in state and federal elections. If you don't pay property tax, you shouldn't be allowed to vote in local elections.

tradition.
the constitution was meant to limit the power of the people, the popular majority. the founding fathers were more scared of stupidity en masse than anything else, and rightfully so...

That was the way things originally were. Land owners got the vote, because they had greater stake in the outcome. Results get lopsided when more consumers than producers vote, and politicians know that.
