View Full Version : Resolutions?
Saison 12-27-2007, 01:37 PM Do you make them? Better yet, do you stick to them?
This year, I'm resolving to get more exercise, finish my silly book, and get 2-3 more classes under me belt. Also, travel to some place I've never been, visit friends and family, and take better care of myself. (Oh and to tighten up the budget so I can save for a new car.)
What's your resolution?
Gibson 12-27-2007, 01:38 PM Lose weight.
All Sugars gone MANUALLY.

Ferment sugars into alcohol. Done. :|
Saison 12-27-2007, 01:43 PM ...add to my list: learn to sew, knit & crochet and buy a bike.
Wedge 12-27-2007, 01:49 PM 1. Be a better dad
2. Be a better bf
3. Gain weight / Go back to the gym
4. Get out of debt (almost there)
5. Full fund my roth ira
6. Do better at work (like getting there on time)
- eat better
- kick the coke habit (Coca-Cola that is!)
- lose some weight
- find a new place to live
- clean out my shop
Dreamintree01 12-27-2007, 02:01 PM - Work on the debt I've amassed with student loans, car payment, credit cards, and medical bills. I want to be debt free as soon as humanly possible.
- I already joined the YMCA and have been working out. I not only want to lose weight, but honestly get in shape and eat healthier.
- Get a raise, and maybe get a grad class under my belt.
- Indulge in more intellectual pursuits.
- Travel to different places. I've been to NYC and Philly too many times to count now. I need something new.
-Write my local history book and maybe work on a few more pieces to send to literary journals.
These aren't resolutions, necessarily, but if I call them that, I hope to keep them in the front of my mind so I don't drop them so easily.

Baboon 12-27-2007, 02:12 PM Not a resolution per se, since I believe if something needs fixing you don't wait until the start of the year to get moving....
That said, I need to get my diet back in check. I've put on 10 pounds since Thanksgiving (as you can see what a cow I am in the recent pics I've posted :p ) and I'd like to lose them to get back to my trim self. I've also been drinking a LOT of beer lately and need to cut that out.

Wow that's really awesome! But I think it'd be better to start from scratch (no pun intended). My friend Holly's cat Igor would be great for a lol cat. So would your cats :)

I guess that makes sense - you'd get no joy out of it otherwise. ;)
