View Full Version : So how was the feast?
colonel 12-26-2007, 09:28 AM One year my brother ran out of time and didn't stuff the bird and I've ridden him mercilessly ever since. This year he pulled out all the stops and the stuffing was so good it nearly surpassed the turkey. Now the bastid won't give me the recipe.
How was everyone else's chow?

We did a simple meal for the two of us, but it came out nice. Ham & taters (davey style) with some shiitake & button mushrooms.
I did sushi for lunch at my favorite place. :)

Baboon 12-26-2007, 03:25 PM My cooking ability has now surpassed that of my Italian aunt. Every year I'd look forward to her Christmas feast. This year however, the Christmas Eve feast that I prepared for my family was better than her Christmas Day feast. Hers was still good, but mine was better.

FallenAngel 12-27-2007, 01:24 PM My parents went a little unorthodox and bought prime rib. They cooked this 8lb. chunk of meat along with roasted potatoes, creamed spinach and Yorkshire pudding.
It was fantastic and one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time.
Dreamintree01 12-27-2007, 01:29 PM We had ham, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, green been casserole, baked corn, baked macaroni and cheese, homemade bread, carrots, green beans, applesauce, cranberry sauce. We also had 3 different kind of pie for dessert. Decadent.
