EGGS BENEDICT MAKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Yup, I actually plan to use it for homemade "Mc"Muffins - in that part where the egg is there's also a tray where you can place a slice of pre-cooked canadian bacon or a sausage patty and it will heat that up along with cooking the egg. The lower portion actually has spots where you can put in up to four eggs in the shell for hard boiling.
I'm also planning to see if you can just pour some of that "egg beaters" stuff into the poaching tray and get the same effect as a whole egg.

I've actually never done it benedict-style... should probably try that :)

Uhhh... seriously I had NO clue what you were talking about. There's no such thing as a "bluetooth." I've never even heard anyone call it that.

Are people actually calling these headsets "bluetooths/teeth"?

Cuz they're not the only things out there using bluetooth. Plenty of stuff like PC accessories use it too.

Yeah, I realize that, but seriously, are we going to get into an argument about this? When you're in a cellphone store like Verizon, everyone just refers to it as a bluetooth.

NO. I said you need lives b/c of starting a semantic argument about bluetooth technology and my only calling it a bluetooth. I could care less if people know what it is. I hate them. I only reason I got one is because it's illegal to drive with one where I live now, and they are seriously cracking down on it.

I got:

Zillions of pics of everybody's kids, pets, trucks, flower beds, vacations, aquarium visits, fishing and hunting trips, etc., etc., etc., all on those new digital picture frame thingies that will hang on your wall, and cycle through what seems to be thousands of pics for hours. I got several of those this year, big ones, and have them all going at the same time. Finally, some 'new tech' crap I actually like ...

Several new pairs of overalls

Three new pairs of Red Wings; low tops, boots, and hightops.

Tools

Lots of comps from Vegas and Reno

$2,000 gift card for the wife from one place, $1,000 from another, $500 from yet another, and a few smaller ones, for shopping sprees and entertainment

A total of three months of free rooms and meals

About $15,000 in free chips.

A $1,000 coupon for the Bunny Ranch.

Free rental cars, plane tickets, free gourmet coupons, and scads of other comps ...

I guess they think they'll eventually win their money back. And I don't even have time to use all of them.

It was a comment that reflected the irony and absurdity of crass consumerism, not to mention FLoP's own wistfully projected persona of the high-flying, power-tool wielding brothel connosieur, jetting off to Vegas in his imaginary corporate jet to redeem his single Applebee's gift coupon.

I suppose the proper response to FLoP's masturbatory musings, (unintentionally revealed here as a sad little man's X-Mas wish list) would be "Awesome Dude, you TOTALLY rawk". I apologize for veering off script.

I thought she was in an elevated mood; she has the hots for me.

And, Applebee's is not horrible or anything, but it's not my favorite place.

In any case, my father and my uncles have been going to Vegas and Reno every year since the late forties, and they dragged a bus load of people behind them as well as their families, and most of the family still goes. You don't have to be a 'high roller' to get those kinds of comps, just a regular long time visitor, and they get to know the regulars personally; we usually stay at least two weeks, and sometimes a month or more, depending on who's in town and how active the poker tables are. We own some property out near Reno, inherited from my Dad, and ditto for a lot of cousins. My Dad and an uncle made a living playing poker out there for a couple of years after they got out of the Army in 1947, and were still active serious players right up til they died.

Even first time visitors will get free days and nights, and meals, too, from their first trip, if they stay in the casino hotels. That's how Vegas, Reno, and Nevada works, they comp people, and they comp regulars and friends very well.
