"We understand the fright that can come when you're worried about a rocket landing on top of your home."

GWB isn't a Texan, he's a Connecticut Yankee, from Snouter's part of the country, who bought a pig farm down here in 1999. Yeah, I know the him and the media call it a 'ranch', but most of them are idiots, too. GEB is the standard product of the Phillips/Andover/Harvard/Yale 'education' cycle that produces such stellar 'intellects' like George. Not that George didn't try to get a real education, by attending Texas schools a couple of times before failing and heading back North, where stupidity is considered a virtue, and even applied to the local state party school, but was found to be so profoundly imbecilic for admittance that even Daddy couldn't buy his way in. Jeb did just fine, but we know the 'smart' brothers had other opportunities, so Daddy bought George a Presidency instead.

Leave Texas out of it; we only voted him Governor, out of a sense of humor, since there at least 10 other officials far more important than Governor in this state.

George W. Bush carried Texas in 2000 with 59% of the vote and in 2004 with 61%. The number of Texans who voted for him actually increased from 3.7 million to 4.5 million. That means that about 800,000 Texans thought he did such a great job from 2000 to 2004 that he earned their votes.
