View Full Version : Would a guy date a pregnant woman?
val27 12-13-2007, 09:28 PM So..I have not been on here in a long time. Been working two jobs, trying to get over the douche ex--the ex that got me pregnant! He was excited at first, and has gone back and forth more times than a fat woman in the middle of the desert waving a fan in her face on wanting to be with me to support me & the baby...it has of course again totally screwed with my head. Every time I try to cut this guy off, he finds a way back in, apologizing differently every time. And he has a profile back up on match.com too. I'd like his support, but is he really helping me if he is looking for other chicks? I'm glad I have my family & friends available, but just wish the father was different :(
I want some questions answered:
1. Would a girl date a 37 never married guy with a baby on the way?
2. Would a guy date a pregnant woman or a woman with a newborn?
3. Do I trust that he will pay child support? ( he can afford it, makes 11,000 a month, but made some comment about only giving me 850)
jwreck 12-13-2007, 09:30 PM 1. Don't know.
2. No way.
3. No. Trust nothing. Take him to court.

Stay the fluck away from the pregnant guy, especially when they have a lot of blubber to begin with. He will probably end up never losing the additional fat he gains from the pregnancy.
CoatRack 12-14-2007, 05:22 AM Call the Attorney General in your state/city and set up temporary child support until the baby is born. Then you get permanent child support. Get it taken directly out of his check (garnishment).
I might date you, if you were cute enough. There are guys out there who are into pregnant women. There should be some sites on the internet.
fairlyconserv 12-14-2007, 06:43 AM Do what coat said, and don't even consider pursuing this guy. I don't know if you used protection and it failed or if you didn't at all, but please, never have unprotected sex again....it could cost you your life.
Good luck:)

This made me LOL. :D
Sorry to hear about your predicament, Val. I've got to say, I'd probably stay clear of a woman who was preggy. Unless she just wanted to hump and promised not to tell my wife.
colonel 12-14-2007, 09:28 AM Based on pretty much every one of your posts on this board and your current predicament I have to ask...are you going to heed any of the advice given to you here?
I think not.

She could put up a Craigslist ad and try to find someone locally.
Including that sig she's currently using in her ad would certainly work as an attention-getter.
Betty 12-14-2007, 06:32 PM I say you might wanna take a break from romance altogether. More trouble than it's worth at this point.

Tally 12-14-2007, 08:35 PM Stay the fluck away from the pregnant guy,
Ya know how everyone always writes "lol" but rarely mean it literally? well that statement honestly made me laugh out loud:rofl:
Anyhoo, If all I was looking for was sex then sure i'd have sex with a (single) man with a baby on the way (note, i did not say pregnant man!). if i wanted an actual relationship I would not date him, too much going on in his life.
i don't date women, but if i did my answer would be the same as above.
on the child support thing - don't trust him to give you any certain amount, get it written up and signed by you, him, and lawyers, hopefully it won't have to go to court.

I agree with Betty.
val27 12-15-2007, 07:09 PM I'm answering some questions...
1. I forgot about my sig....yea, need to change that.
2. I just filed for child support. and am working on a parenting plan
3. I bought a "rabbit" ( not really a question, but fills the boyfriend void)
4. I think in a way I like to torture myself..which is why I kept going back to this douche.
5. He could "look" pregnant (beer gut) ha
thanks guys
igofast 12-15-2007, 08:14 PM Glad to hear you listened to all the advice people have given you. I'm sure anything else we say will fall on deaf ears as well.
