As my mind has turned to mush lately, I've suddenly been overcome by the fear that I will forget to bring my crock pot to work tomorrow. In doing so, I would not be able to warm or serve the soup I brought to the pot luck. I'm therefore taking wagers to see whether or not I remember it. Hopefully starting this thread, and the inevitable shame I would face if I reported back tomorrow that I still forgot it will make some impression on my frontal lobe.

You will forget the crockpot...because you did'nt take it down, and put it in your car the night before. You'll be rushed tomorrow morning, and will leave the crockpot on the counter. You'll have to try to heat your soup in the low wattage microwave at work, in the two containers it came in....which means the top half of each container will be scorching hot, and the bottom ice cold. It will also splatter all over the inside of the microwave. :)

lol @ dngrmse. This was a paralyzing fear at 3:00 a.m. I did remember it today, although hauling it with the rest of my crap was a pain. And there thankfully was someplace to plug it in. :nice:

Heidi is one of the only ones with whom I can be truly silly and eccentric and she doesn't mind because she's the same way. It's a very comforting relationship, and I love her dearly for her acceptance and fun.
