View Full Version : Toast
optimus 11-05-2007, 08:05 PM Ingredients:
2 slices of bread
butter
Directions:
Open Refrigerator (the big rectangle box machine in the kitchen)
Take out 2 slices of bread (bread usually already comes pre-sliced, no need to bring a knife yet)
Put the 2 slices of bread in a TOASTER (toe-ster)
Push the button down
Wait until it pops up
Take the slices out of the toaster
Spread butter on them (please use a knife, not your fingers)
Enjoy
is it possible to butter the toast first?
Monster 11-05-2007, 09:45 PM If you butter it first, you'd be buttering bread, not toast.
:p
EMTrue 11-05-2007, 09:55 PM Great recipe! I love to spice my version of that up a bit with this Toaster (http://eggandmuffintoaster.net/)

Hmmm....are you not actually supposed to keep bread in the fridge?

People who keep bread in the fridge are weird :P
I suppose it might last a little longer, but cold, hard bread sucks.
I just use a rubbermaid airtight bread container and keep it out on the counter. Nice, soft bread that lasts usually for a good couple of weeks :nice:
Monster 11-06-2007, 02:11 PM I keep my bread in the fridge too, but I also never buy bread with high fructose corn syrup in it--which eliminates most breads on the market.
The breads with H.F.C.S. in it generally don't need to be refrigerated because of it. You leave a loaf of natural rye bread out and it gets moldy, fast. In the fridge, not so much.
Saison 11-06-2007, 02:45 PM I keep my bread in the fridge. It doesn't get moldy as fast.
Evil Elmo 11-06-2007, 03:09 PM I just keep it in the pantry. it doesn't get a chance to get moldy.
Rayney 11-07-2007, 04:41 AM Hmmm....are you not actually supposed to keep bread in the fridge?
No, thats weird. Its kept in the pantry.
EMTrue 11-07-2007, 04:45 AM Most of the time, I keep mine in the fridge as well- supposed to last longer -but, if I know we are going to use it soon or fast, I don't. As for cold, hard bread- yea, it sucks- so you just take it out ahead of time. You can freeze bread too...I hate to though, so I don't.

Saison 11-12-2007, 03:12 PM Sean, do you have any recipes for getting the face of Jesus or other dieties to appear in said toast?

Other than intense prayer to our savior, the lord Jesus Christ? No.
