I just did a 14.24 @ 107.5. It was at the exact same spot I did a 15.2, but everything was working today, the car was cooler and the car felt strong throughout. The weather was perfect, about 65 degrees and dry.

I know I have been giving this mantra for a while but, the Jacobs Mileage Master and Ultra Coil with plugs gapped at .070 maximize the performance of the 86 heads for sure. March Ram Air, a well cleaned fuel system, and 3.73 gears also helps. I am pretty sure I need a new fuel pressure regulator and in tank fuel pump soon.

Thanks Manu. Again, the car is been on the road since late 1985 with original (never been rebuilt) engine and tranny, so I hope it is an inspiration to you guys with new GT's. http://discussanything.com/Ubb/wink.gif

I have been using Syntec 5W-50 for last 50,000 miles or so and using a K&N oil filter since I heard they made them (I actually use 2 at once in my setup and magnetic drain plugs). I used Fram before that, but found out that they are not the best.

Darn. This one doesn't seem to want to take. They are on my Stangnet website also.

With some cutting, the March Ram Air collector fit right behind the stock vent in the front air dam which was handy.
