Hey, I am considering buying a motorcycle. So, while cruising around the internet, I came across www.wreckedbike.com (http://www.wreckedbike.com) Has anyone had any business with them? What do you think? If all that is wrong with these bikes is cosmetic damages (scratches, dents, etc) I can fix it for far cheaper than buying one w/o the damage.

Also, they talk about different titles, such as salvage title. Anyone have any advice/knowledge about this?

Um, just to let you know, if you're considering buying a bike and fixing cosmetic damage, it costs a lot. For a full set of plastic for a newer model bike (i.e. Honda CBR 600 F-2) I've seen them go for well over a thousand dollars.

No Doubt! The Parts are a lot more than the Bike. Buy new and high performance. You don't want to ride around on a basket case. Motorcycles are dangerous enough as it is.

I don't know if I agree with that assumption of buying new, though. I mean, come on, chances are really, really high that you're going to down the bike once or twice in the learning process, and would you rather drop a 8k bike or a 3k bike? I'm going to get a little YSR 50 soon, and after that when I get my first big bike, it'll be a CBR600 F2 or F3. I mean, bang for the buck, that'll be more horsepower than I'll ever realistically need off the track for a lot less than a newer bike. But I guess that's just also cuz I think old is in and new is out.
