View Full Version : Software for defragmentation
The face of Jacob 10-23-2007, 06:13 AM Hello, I have Windows XP with 56 GB of hard disk. When I want to do defragmentation it takes lots of time and then I get a notification that it couldn't be done. Can you recommend me about a good software that can do defragmentation? Thanks.
Betrade 10-23-2007, 07:25 AM Turn your screensaver off and try again. Every time the screensaver kicks on it starts over. Then, do it when you don't need the computer.

You think so? It's not because the hard disc is large?
Snouter 10-23-2007, 08:46 PM If the retard's disk is too full, defrag won't work.

Thanks, I'll try it soon.
Snouter 10-24-2007, 01:50 AM Is sounds to me like the retard does not even know what percentage is free. Defrag obviously shuffles files, thus a certain amount of free space is needed. Does the retard understand this concept?
fat mike 10-24-2007, 01:55 AM why are you so mean to him?
Snouter 10-24-2007, 02:07 AM How can you say that? On the contrary, I am helping the retard!
fat mike 10-24-2007, 04:04 AM in a mean way!! actually though-i just realized i needed a disc clean myself-thx Snout...

Dunno. It's not my computer, but the screensaver can trip defrag back to start.

92Notch 10-25-2007, 09:28 PM When my hard drive starts to fragment I just look at it sternly and say "STOP IT", and that's all I have to do, it knocks it right off after that. It knows that if it does not do as I say that I will beak out the stapler and beat the living crap out of it.
