I recently saw a program on the long hunt for Gary Ridgway, the “Green River Killer.” The program, in reality, was about the (almost) obsession of Dave Reichert to find the killer in an era where DNA wasn’t used (the early 1980s is when the killings began). Yet, in the end, DNA lead to his capture.

It was educational, and if you like things like that, I’d recommend it. I believe the below is what I saw:

The Search for the Green River Killer looks interesting. I'd never heard of it, so thank you for the link. I enjoy reading books about stuff like this so I'll probably read that one.

They interviewed Sheriff Reichert’s family in the program I saw, and his daughter said something like, “It got to the point where Dad was here, but his mind was not here.”

Admirably (imho), his wife and kids (now grown) all stuck by him.

I have seen the 2005 Zodiak movie (not good) and the 2007 Zodiak movie (it is good because of the actors, imho).

The type of people who are serial killers--who have little to no emotions and seem to "blend in" with society--fascinate me.

Thanks again, Misteria, for the link and the PM about this subject.

:nice: :nice: :nice:
