so, my stupid nonfunctioning or overfunctioning heart has compelled me to call my doctor's office because i'll be damned if i can function with my heart skipping, bumping and racing to the point where i can't breathe.
i called my doctor's office this morning to schedule an appointment to be answered by a crying woman. at first i thought that maybe i called the wrong number but when i proceeded to ask if it was my doctor's office the woman, through her tears, answered that they had just gotten news that the doctor passed away this morning.
crazy. you know, you know that doctors are human and that they pass away too like the rest of us, you just dont expect to hear about it.

jojo- he was in his early 60's. the only reason i know this is because he was on the staff here at my hospital.
myst - i know :(
fm - i dont have high blood pressure, i have supraventricular tachycardia. which means that my heart rate kicks up to about 160 while just sitting at my desk doing nothing more than paperwork and for no reason other than it just wants to.
i see another doctor today. i really need to find out why my heart feels as though it's "shaking" in my chest. sometimes it feels like a hand is softly squeezing my heart.

i am, but they dont seem to be helping in a preventative way. :hmm:
if it acts up i'll just go to urgent care or see my primary care doctor if it's during hours that he is in. i'd prefer the cardiologist because they can do the stress test, etc.
guess, i'll have to wait for that until tuesday.

went to doctor today. doctor changed my meds to a preventative med rather than interventional.
also, found out that my migraines may be caused by my heart condition.
have to have a scary test done on the 23rd which will take about 3 1/2 hours.
