Okay so I've been playing dodgeball in a league for about a year and a half now. I joined a team with a bunch of my friends. We're called the Groin Hunters! :nice:
Once a week, I leave work and head over to the University of Pennsylvania to pick up a couple of my teammates who work there, and we all head over to my buddy's place in Manayunk to pre-game with a few beers and hoagies or pizza. Then we head over to the gym and kick some ass! When it's nice out, we play in an outdoor hockey court. When it's not nice out, we play in indoor gyms.
Well, this season, we went 29-6 during the regular season, and last night we WON IT ALL!! That's right, we won the championship, baby! Woohoo!!
This was our fifth season playing together. Last season, we came in second, but this season, we took it! There are eight teams in the league, only two of which are very good: The Screamin' Eagles and Ballz Deep. We beat both of them in the playoffs. It was a great season!
