You know at one time that was the way it use to be in America. But ! Not anymore. We have to many busy bodies who wants to stick they're nose into every ones business . America is no longer a free country . You can't go and come as you please and before long you want be able to say what you think or feel without suffering the consequence's . " Hate Speech " Is what they would call it and punish you for such . Its happening in other countries now . And while I'm at it .Why can't we the USA have control of our own money . By this I mean do away with the Federal Reserve and doing so would save us TAX Payer's ton's of money we pay interest on money congress has to borrow. Who is the FEDERAL RESERVE ? Does anyone know who they are ? There is no connection to our Government at All. Other than we are making someone mighty RICH . Maybe that's the reason our Government is allowing them to treat us American citizen's like dirt . You know High interest on charge card's . High Penalty on a bounced check . How does that come about. At one time there was a law on USURY. What happen to that ? President Jackson hate the Federal reserve he knew what it would do to this country. So did President Lincoln. He did away with it during the civil war and with good cause. Why did President Wilson allow the Federal Reserve come to be ? Perhaps he was controlled by black mailer's when he was screwing around on his old lady / Who knows ? I do know we are paying out the arse now. Just think how it would be without the Federal Reserve ? Just a Thought .

No such thing as absolute freedom . Without laws governing society, you will not have freedom for long . We don't have the liberty of taking anothers life, freedom or property ,for example .

Dogo, I have been telling people till I was blue in the face how little freedom exists. Especially in the United States where I live.

I think the very fact that some many people were suckered into voting for Dubya is proof that people are willing to sell their freedom for security.

We are all slaves my friend. Slaves to money, slaves to capitalism, slaves to the New World Order. And it will continue to get worse. Its part of their plan. Deal with it.

You think you have problems, try living in the UK, Camera's everywhere, and thats just the ones you can see!!! Once they start with road pricing they intend to have you fit a tracker in your car so they can track your every move, coupled with "ID cards are optional but we wont give you a passport without one" line, we are heading towards a police state at an alarming rate. :nonono:

I'm curious. Is there an anti police state movement?? I mean, someone should run for office on that platform, and if the people are truly against all of these privacy invasions, such a person should be able to win a seat. Once that happens, more and more like minded people could be elected and pass laws to reverse these things.

Or is it like the US, where people are just apathetic about politics for the most part, yet complain about their leaders, even though they did nothing to stop them from getting into office?? Most Americans don't even vote. If half of the registered voters show up, that's considered heavy, and there are millions of people who never even register to begin with.

Where I live, there are no cameras, because I'm in a rural area, but I'm noticing more and more cameras at intersections. They aren't red light cameras, they're just cameras. I guess they're used to monitor traffic or something, but the whole thing gives me the creeps.
