My twenty-four years in the U.S. Army seem pretty good --- now. Yes I'm retired now, getting the bennies (benefits). I was wounded a couple times - nothing serious. One wound was right in the plump part of my ass.

Every notice that high ranking generals never seem to croak? Even from heart attacks. They be planners, you see.

Suddenly soldiers can no longer use the internet to communicate with their spice. Wonder why. Could it be that they no longer have such conservative leanings?

A Pfc now makes more than a Sgt-Major used to make.

Yes, I still love and celebrate the military. Finally GWB appointed a smart guy for his CG in Iraq.

You know what? I'd go back in - even to Iraq - if they'd let me. Even if I had to work for that dumb ass Tommie Franks.

Not too many facts in there Steve.

Your profile says former 'special agent' is that as well as being a soldier?

Yea, they were talking about it on Air America Radio. Soldiers cannot keep blogs. I guess they consider it demoralizing.

My bud at work has a son who is leaving for Iraq this week. And I thought I had it rough.

Thanks for serving our country. if your a liberal it may be the last nice thing i say to you though . But I will still honor your service . I don't think this new CG is much better, but I hope I'm wrong .

Wow. Why pretend to thank liberals for serving, if you obviously hate them so much?

In fact, why honor service at all, if you hate half of your country?

I can't see FM actually hating anyone.

I look back on my military time. Some of it was good, a lot of it sucked, but 80% of the suck had a good reason behind it. I'm glad I was in. Did me a lot of good, even the mistakes I made.

You have a point to a certain degree . First off i don't ' hate ' anyone and you should be ashamed for falely accusing me and [ I was half kidding to be begin with ]. l. Also you can honor some things about people and dislike others .

it is conflict of interest to be a true liberal and a patriot at the same time . It goes against every brance of military decree . God ,country and family and a moral code . Just because half the nation wants the USA to disolve into a third world multi-cultural tyranny doesn't make it any less insane to ight for something you don't want to exist . .
