see, people keep talking about wanting significant others and all that. now, not only have i dropped out of looking for a s/o, i don't even want one right now, so it's besides the point for me. but something i have noticed whenever i'm out and about:
any time there is a female by herself who is decent looking, she is SURROUNDED by men. men, by definition, are single. they are the ones looking. so you will see single men congregate as groups and go to parties and shows and clubs and bars and laundromats and movie theatres and pawn shops and zoos to meet women under the guise of hanging out. and when they see a woman, a single woman, who appears to be enjoying herself, you will see all of them move on over, and join about 20 other guys who are all surrounding the one girl.
now, i could be wrong here, but as far as i'm concerned, THIS is why you never meet a single woman. the second a woman's single and looking status becoems apparent, she is completely and utterly surrounded by men, all looking to make the best move so that they can get their p-due in her v-woo.
i went to a party a few weeks ago with my friends raja, mark and mark's ex girlfriend nicole. mark and nicole are no longer together, nicole is still single, although she says she isn't looking. however, most of the girls at the party (read: all of them except the tall ugly ones) were just fat and ugly. and the whole time nicole was there, there were no less than 4 guys talking to her at any one time. it was kind of like a revolving door, one guy would finish a beer, go to get another, and another would move on in.
THIS, of course, is also why i am hopelessly single, since I really despise the idea of competing with other males to get some girl's attention in the hope sshe'll "choose" me or something. but that's really besides the point. it's just what i've noticed is that there really aren't any good looking single women out there, because of the fact that as soon as they BECOME single, there are just TONS of guys who begin crowding, trying to get a piece of the pie.
anyways i'm sure there was more i was gonna write about, but since i forgot and i'm more concerned about getting some food, i'm going to wander off aimlessly now.

A single girl can turn a party into a sausage factory. I'm so glad I'm married.

Now you obviously have an issue with fat women ... I am not skinny ... ok I am fat ... and Tall thank you! And single or not I tend to have a large number of guys all over my koolaid (as I call it) ... I would have to agree for the most part with you on that statement you have made MrWrOng that once guys find out that a good looking woman is taken they all crowd around her looking for her attention and the competition thing sucks ... but maybe you are just too unhappy for a woman to find you attractive ... I think that a happy man/woman is attracted by others easily and quickly!

I share your feelings. Despite being 51% of the population females sure aren't treated like it.

I don't do the whole competition thang either. Seems misguided., even if it makes sense.

i think i made it clear that this was my observation and not my personal feelings. and i'm not interested in finding a woman, i said that at least twice. i don't want to even date right now.

Because according to you: THIS, of course, is also why i am hopelessly single, since I really despise the idea of competing with other males to get some girl's attention in the hope sshe'll "choose" me or something.

Whereas elimidate provides: "Combining the most intriguing elements of the new wave of reality shows and traditional dating strips, this all-new half-hour comedy dating series simultaneously pits four suitors against one another for the hand of one lucky single on a group date. These candidates, three of whom will be eliminated over the course of the game, need to outflirt, outsmart and outlast their competition using their wit, charm and sex appeal. Their strategy should ultimately ensure that they're the one left standing when the dating dust has settled.

i didn't sign up to get a date, i signed up cos they had an entry form and i take pretty much every oppurtunity i can. it'll be an interesting story. i wouldn't even dream of "winning" though.
