I haven't been here for almost a year.At that time I'd just lost about 80lbs ,and had met a girl on a blind date.
I've had a very busy and fulfilling year.We are getting married in three
weeks.
I was bored at work,so I thought I'd surf this site and discovered
this new (to me ) forum. There appears to be quite a few negative
posts.
So I thought I'd post a positive one :)
My fiance' is a grade 5 teacher from Saskatchewan.
We are both in our 40's and have waited a long time to meet
the right person.Neither of us have been married before. We met last
January, got engaged in May ,and are getting married in 20 days.
I couldn't be happier.She's a wonderful woman,owns her own house,
is a great cook, and knows how to change a tire :nice: .
We are going to live in her house.
I'm a poor cook ,but she's being patient and I'm learning fast.
I'm enjoying looking after a house(I presently live in a basement apartment),
and last summer we had a garden full of flowers.
In November she had major surgery, which meant I had to do most
of the house cleaning and grocery shopping and look afer her.
I was a bit stressed ,but she was very supportive .She's recovering well,
but we probably won't be able to have children. We accepted that,
and moved on..
Anyways , there is hope for those wanting to meet Mr/Mrs Right.
Just be patient...
