According to this guy who absolutely is not nuts:
I'm sure most people don't realize that UK is the head of the world power structure, but they are. (Ask yourself why Britain is the only place on the map labeled as "Great.") Freemason groups in the USA, who stem from the UK, are making world decisions. With secret societies being in place since the creation of the US, it's debatable whether this country truly has been free from the UK, EVER. Think about it, it would be in England's best interest to secretly maintain power when the US declared independance.
It's no coincidence that the security issues in the US are mirroring issues in the UK. If you didn't know, the UK is now operating like a well-policed Nazi-Germany, and the US is soon going to follow suit.

Geeze another overarching conspiracy theory.... Freemasons rule the world!
Bosh.
However, I should say that I agree that the UK seems to have lost many personal rights (like the right to self defense).

Can you have a gun?
No.
Here's why: Seventh United Nations Survey of Crime Trends and Operations of Criminal Justice Systems, covering the period 1998 - 2000
Murders with firearms:
USA: 8,259
CANADA: 165
UK: 62
Can you protect yourself with deadly force without being sent to prison yourself?
No.
"Deadly force" has to be justified. If you disturb a burglar and beat him to death with a cricket bat, that's murder. If he attacks you and dies as a result that's self defence
Are you slaves to the state because of it?
Yes.
Have you studied the ramifications of the Patriot Act? American citizens are in danger of losing the few civil rights left.
